The selection of an urn that has meaning for your family, is a natural part of the funeral process when cremation takes place. The urn serves as a permanent vessel to hold the cremated remains in a dignified and respectful manner. When choosing an urn, it is important to choose one that reflects your loved one and connects with you as a family.
When someone is cremated, it is important that an appropriate size urn is selected to accommodate all of the cremated remains. We recommend to choose an urn that is 200 – 220 cubic inches of internal space. Most full size, adult urns will easily accommodate the cremated remains of an adult. There are also medium size urns for those being divided amongst family members or keepsake urns that will accommodate a small keepsake portion of cremated remains.
