Marianne "Lyn" Wallin (nee Williams) of Medicine Hat passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at the age of 47 years. Lyn was born on October 25, 1959 in Taber, Alberta, a daughter to Albert and Alice Williams. She was raised in Medicine Hat where she received her high school education. Following High School she attended the Red Deer College and obtained her post secondary education. Lyn came back to her roots in Medicine Hat and raised her family. Over the years she worked with K-Mart until it closed in 1998. For the past several years she was employed at the Park Lane Cold Beer Store. Lyn was involved as a Brownie Leader. She loved to go camping and reading. She also loved animals...especially her little dog, Bella, who is going to miss her! Lyn will be kept cherished in the hearts of her beloved partner, Percy Berehula; daughter, Melanie (Phil) Tieman and Danielle Wallin (Marc Wagner); brother, Allan (Lil) Williams and sister, Maureen Getz (Garth Widmer); mother-in-law, Joan Wallin; brother-in-law, Wayne Coates; nieces and nephews, Stephanie Williams (Ross) and her daughter, Ravyn; Jonathan Williams (Jen), Justin Getz and his son, Frost, Nadine Getz as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Alice Williams; sister, Patricia Coates; father-in-law, Mac Wallin and sister-in-law, Lori Williams. The Celebration of Lyn's Life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13th Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Monday, April 2, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Civil Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating.
