Obituary - Barbara Cooper

It is with sadness that the family of Barbara Anne Cooper, announce her passing on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the age of 68 years. Barbara was born on October 5, 1942 in England, a daughter to Ernest and Ada Dunlop. She was raised in England and was married there in 1962. With a new, young family they immigrated to Canada and continued their life together. She was a good friend to many and was always considerate of others. She was a strong, caring lady who faithfully put her family first. As a mother, she nurtured her children and supported them in any way she could. She was happy to see her kids get married and start their own lives. The birth of her grandchildren always held a special place in her heart. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by two children, Russell (Cindy) and their daughters, Emma and Addison; Paul (Wendy); the father of her children, John Cooper; a sister, Sylvie (Erwin) and their children Richard, Jayn and Victoria. She was predeceased by her parents, Ada and Ernest Dunlop. Barbara’s life will be celebrated at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 13th Street SW, Medicine Hat on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating.
