Mrs. Viola Mae Annon, beloved wife of the late Mr. Joseph Annon, passed away at the Bow Island Health Centre on Monday, April 12, 2004 at the age of 94 years. Viola will be forever loved and dearly remembered by her three children, Dolly (Fred) Mellen of Bow Island, Wayne (Gerry) Annon of Reno, Nevada and Audrey (Jack) Mitchell of Orleans, Ontario; 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, F.D. Terry and Roland Havens as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband Joseph, she was predeceased by two daughters, Ila Terry and Joanne Havens; an infant son, Lawrence; two grandchildren; three sisters, Hazel Annon, Abbie Hadford and Alyce Close and a brother Andrew 'Bud' Henningsgard and her parents, John and Christina Henningsgard. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew's United Church, 139 - 2nd Ave. West, Bow Island on Friday, April 16, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Jim Lochhead officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Viola's name may be made directly to the Bow Island Extended Care Health Wing, c/o the Bow Island Health Centre, Bag 3990 Bow Island, Alberta T0K 0G0 or to the Pleasant View Lodge, Bag 6700 Bow Island, Alberta T0K 0G0 or to the charity of one's choice.
