Sending sincere sympathy to the family. Some may say you should feel fortunate for having them for so long— but I think when people live well in their 90’s it makes the “goodbyes” that much harder. I enjoyed talking to Florence and Edgar when they and my parents were in Chinook. They were “salt of the earth” people — such a delight. What a wonderful story they have, and a lasting legacy.

Dearest family, We have so very many great memories of our years living in Medicine Hat, and the countless times we enjoyed Edgar and Florence's hospitality and friendship and presence. Their music will always be part of us. It brought much joy into this world. Despite all the struggles that life brought their way, they always maintained a cheerful and happy spirit. Words cannot express our sorrow at their loss. They had so many happy years together! Please accept our sincerest and deepest condolences. May it be our prayer that God's comfort will soften your sorrow and pain. Dennis & Dianne Braun

To the Boschee family: Sincere condolences from the Zollner family, and from Medicine Hat Cowboy Poetry. We got to know Florence and Edgar when Renetta and Pam were classmates. During Covid, on the MHCP website, Edgar tells his story about the heifer falling down the well; Florence is right beside him on the video. The photos of them and their bio is in the book we published, "Stories From Seniors". Renetta's harrowing calving story is also in the book. Then when they lived at River Ridge, I talked to Edgar every month when our band played there. He would invariably remind me of his heifer story or Renetta's encounter. He also remembered Pam staying over, even though it was so many years ago. What a pleasure it was knowing them.

My deepest condolences to Renetta and the entire Boschee family. Renetta and I are friends, and I knew Edgar and Florence well during the years my father served as pastor of the church in Medicine Hat. Our families shared a close connection, and Edgar and Florence were always remembered for their kindness, faith, and warmth. Their lifelong love and devotion to one another was truly special. May the Lord draw near to you, strengthen you, and comfort you with the assurance of His presence and the promise of eternal life. Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
