With her family by her side, Mae Mamona, beloved wife of the late Victor Mamona, peacefully passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at the age of 94 years. The Funeral Service in Mae’s honour will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Lance Duncalfe officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow in the Cook Southland Reception Facility. (Those wishing to pay their respects may do so one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 10:55 a.m.) Interment will take place at the Redcliff Cemetery. Those wishing to watch and experience the service online may do so by visiting www.cooksouthland.com and select the View Broadcast Button on the homepage at service time. A recording of the service will be posted to Mae’s obituary on our website and will remain active for 30 days following the service. Memorial donations in Mae’s name may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 119 - 14 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta, T2N 1Z6.

    Tony and Fay and family, we are so sorry for the loss of our dear Auntie Mae. Our memories of her and Uncle Victor will always stay with us, they always made time for everyone. We will miss them at family events, they always were there for us and we loved them very much. She was a great lady and we are sending our love to her family, sorry we cannot attend.     Tony and Fay,we are so sorry for the loss of our dear Auntie Mae. We always looked forward to seeing her and Uncle Victor at family events which they never missed.     All my hugs and prayers to the entire family. I have Treasured fond memories of my summer vacations as a kid spending time with Auntie Mae and Uncle Vic. I lived working in the shoe repair shop and Auntie Mae's cooking. So so many memories that I will hold close to my heart ❤️. Till we meet again Auntie Mae, you will shine down on us all and keep us safe.

    I had the pleasure of knowing Mae when she resided at Chinook Village. She was a lovely, and funny lady, and she will be missed. Rest easy, Mae.
