Obituary - Rebecca Gervais

Rebecca May Gervais passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side at the Riverview Care Centre in Medicine Hat on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the age of 79 years. Rebecca leaves to cherish her memory: four children: Michael Gervais (Lee Hodgins) of Moyer, BC., Brenda Gervais (Andre Martel) of Medicine Hat, AB., Marvin (Susan) Gervais of Cranbrook, BC., and Debbie (Thomas) Sawyer of Medicine Hat, AB., as well as five grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Norman ‘Butch’ and four sisters, Florence, Ellen, Donna and Terry. Rebecca was born to the late Allen Young and Mary MacDonald in Fort MacLeod on September 13, 1939. She married Joseph Gervais and lived in Baynes Lake, BC., until his passing on October 9, 1997. The family wishes to thank alll those who cared for her during her last days. Rebecca requested that she be laid to rest in Cranbrook with her late husband, Joseph.
