Mr. Jeremy James Starner, beloved son of Larry and Janet Starner, passed away in Lethbridge, Alberta on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at the age of 42 years. Along with his parents, left to cherish Jeremy’s memory are his siblings, Jason Starner (Samantha MacBean), William Starner (Alisha Bakanec), Matthew Starner (Dorian Gomez) and Jacey Kessler (Logan Kessler) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Jim and Helen Starner; maternal grandparents, Ward and Delia Clark as well as his one and only true love. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, between 1:00 p.m. and 1:55 p.m. A Celebration of Jeremy’s life will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Clark Hyde officiating and a time of fellowship thereafter in the Cook Southland Reception Facility. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Jeremy may be made directly to the Margery E. Yuill Cancer Centre, payable to the Medicine Hat and District Health Foundation, 666 - 5 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4H6.

We are saddened to learn of Jeremy’s passing. He was a friend. We will miss his visits when he had time away from work. We hope this journey is filled with the blessings he so deserved.
