It is with heavy hearts that the family of Barry Prins, beloved husband of Ingrid Prins (nee Kruitbosch), and father of Colton, and Curtis (Taylor), announce his passing on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at the age of 55 years. Barry was born in Trenton, Ontario on August 31, 1962, the oldest of 3 children. He is also survived by his mother, Toni Prins; brother, Arie (Jill); sister, Debby (Albert) Den Otter; his inlaws, nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his numerous friends and old cronies (you know who you are). Barry was recently predeceased by his father, Arnold. A Memorial Service will be held at the Christian Reformed Church, 300 Primrose Drive SE, Medicine Hat on Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor George Koopmans officiating. We want to say a very special Thank You to Dr. Foley for going above and beyond with such understanding, care and compassion.
