It is with profound sadness that the family of Jordan Daniel Pede announce his passing in Calgary, Alberta, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the age of 24 years. Jordan is survived by his parents, Daniel and Donna Pede; brother, Brendin Pede; grandparents, Elaine Vair, Loraine (Jack)?McKenzie; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandfather, Donald Pede and Frank Vair. Jordan was born in Medicine Hat, AB., on October 31, 1992 and attended Ross Glen, Alexandra and graduated from Medicine Hat High School in 2010. His passion for skate boarding led him to fearless skill levels for the sport, teaching friends and his brother endless hours in the backyard on homemade ramps. Over the years, Jordan met numerous skater friends through the Medicine Hat Skateboard Association. He also had a talent for art, a love of music leading him to his own DJ?services doing endless gigs around Medicine Hat. Jordan’s outgoing personality led with his gleaming smile, would light up any room. With this in mind, the family encourages everyone attending the service, to dress casual yet vibrant to reflect the light Jordan brought to everyone. The Celebration of Jordan’s life will be held at the Dream Centre, 1714 Saamis Drive NW, Medicine Hat, AB., on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating. When Jordan was in grade school at Ross Glenn, he used to come over to our house to play with my daughter Kara. He was the sweetest funniest little guy and from his pics on facebook it looks like he grew up to be the same kind of young man. I used to tease my daughter about making her marry Jordan when they got older. What a terrible thing to happen to a young man who had his whole life ahead of him. Condolences to his family and I can't even imagine the heart break you are going through. Thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Growing up with Jordan as one of my closest friends is something that I will always cherish. I looked forward to hanging out with him each day during elementary school, and I will always remember the way he could make anybody laugh, no matter how bad a day they were having. Jordan was an amazing friend and nothing could change the way that Jordan influenced my life. My condolences to Donna, Brendin and the rest of Jordan's family. I am honored to have known Jordan and he will forever remain in my thoughts.

My deepest condolences are sent to the whole family. I did not know Jordan personally but grew up in Maple Creek as a good friend of his Aunt, Joy and knew Danny from a young child growing up. My heartfelt thoughts go out to his family and the whole extended family.

I was so saddened to hear of Jordan's passing. I was Jordan's grade seven Language Arts and Social Studies teacher at AMS and I have many fond memories of him. When I think of him I remember his fantastic smile and laughter. He was always one to make me laugh and lighten the mood in the classroom. He was a great young man, who I enjoyed getting to know and am fortunate to have taught. I know that he will be missed greatly and I am so sorry for your pain.

Jordan and I were in almost all of our classes together. He was always the class clown and there was never a dull moment with him in the room. We helped each other with our homework and that always ended up in heart-to-hearts over the phone. He always was there for me, even if he was having a bad night he would put his problems aside and we would just talk it out for hours. He wasn't afraid to try anything, and was always looking for new ways to make his friend laugh. He will be deeply missed, and forever remembered. To Brendan, Dan, and Donna he was amazing friend to me and everyone he knew. I am so sorry for this loss.
