Florence “Nora” Whitney, beloved wife of Arthur Whitney passed away peacefully on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the age of 64 years. Nora will be forever remembered in the hearts of her husband, Arthur; daughters, Shelley (Roy)?Day and Tina (John) Meier; numerous grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother and her grandson, Cody. Nora was born on October 3, 1950. She loved yard work, her cats and watching cooking shows. She will be deeply missed. A Come and Go Celebration of Nora’s life will be held in the Cook Southland Reception Facility, 901 - 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Thursday, September 10, 2015, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Nora’s name may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, #124, 430 - 6th Avenue S.E., Medicine Hat, T1A 8W2 or to the Canadian Cancer Society, 102 Crestwood Square One, 1865 Dunmore Road S.E., T1A 1Z8.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Art in the loss of his wife and to Shelley and Tina in the loss of your mother and to the rest of her family. It was a pleasure knowing and talking with your mom through Facebook in connection to Courtice High School. God Bless.
