I came to Medicine Hat Public Library to fill in for Patricia in 1992. Sadly she was unable to return to her position but I always enjoyed meeting her and talking, often in one of the local Safeways. We often talked about the library world and she was passionate about her time there. My condolences to her family.

Patricia welcomed me to the Medicine Hat Public Library in 1985. She will be sadly missed. She always had a smile to greet you and a twinkle in her eye. She welcomed me and my family into her home on several occasions and made everyone feel welcome. Neal and Patricia were there when I got my first motorcycle (actually Neal was very influential in my getting the bike). She had such a marvelous sense of humor, she would listen to funny stories, jokes and antidotes with interest. Prayers and thoughts are with you.
