Mrs. Diane Meier, beloved wife of Jim Meier, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, January 5, 2014, at the age of 64 years. Along with Jim, she leaves to cherish her memory one son, Richard; granddaughter, Hannah and Hannah’s mother Marlaina (Rod) Beauchamp; brothers, Howard and Donnie (Cheryl) Kaye; sister, Vicky (Reed)?Perrin; brother-in-law, Danny (Cindy) Meier and sister-in-law, Patti Meier as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Diane was predeceased by her son, Kelly; parents, Marjory and Art Kay as well as sisters, Joy Buciuk and Beth Magee. A come and go celebration of Diane’s life will be held at the Southside Events Centre, 4 Strachan Court S.E., Medicine Hat on Thursday, January 9, 2014, between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. A tribute to Diane will be shared shortly after 1:00 p.m. and at any time throughout the celebration, those attending are invited to share a memory at the mic if they wish.

I was sorry to hear of your loss Jim. She is not in pain or suffering anymore but that is small comfort at this time. Life is sure not fair but we will never know why. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Jim, Dixie and Myself send our deepest condolences to you and your family at this hard time. Diane was one of the nicest ladies we had the pleasure of meeting. Dixie says she was very easy to talk to. Nothing phony, just a very good hearted person. I'm sure you're not feeling very good, but if you need to talk or if you need anything, just let me know. Again, Jim we are so sorry for your loss. I hope all works out for you Jim. Your friend Joe.
PS Jim I'm not very good at times like this. So if my letter seems stupid, I surely did not mean it to be. I am very sincere with my condolences. I just don't know how to express them.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you Jim. So sorry to hear about Diane. Seems we just never got together for any visits and life is so short sometimes it's not fair. So thinking of you at this difficult time, and our prayers are with you all .
