Obituary - Reinhold Senft

Mr. Reinhold (Ray) Senft passed away peacefully at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at the age of 81 years.  He leaves to cherish his memory:  son, Wayne Senft;  daughter, Carol Hawkes; grandchildren, Myles Kammer and Jennifer (Daniel) Bullen; great-grandchildren, Jadelynn, Elexie and Liam Bullen.  Ray’s memory will also be cherished by his brother, Walter (Florabelle) Senft;  sister, Lavina Knelsen and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents as well as one son, Bruce Senft.  Ray was at home in the outdoors, especially when hunting or fishing.  He was very artistic, and used his talents to create numerous carvings and paintings.  He will be forever missed and dearly remembered. A Celebration of Ray’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Monday, November 28, 2011, at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Larry Enslen officiating.  Private Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.  If friends so desire, memorial tributes in memory of Ray may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102, 73 - 7 Street S.E., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 1J2.
