Obituary - Dianne Meriam

It is with sadness that the family of Dianne Meriam announce her passing which occurred at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at the age of 64 years. Dianne leaves to cherish her memory three children and their families: daughter, Loral (Cory) Desmarais and Loral’s daughter, Candace Fischer; daughter, Carla Meriam (Don Lanz) and their children, Riley and Sydney Lanz; son, Darwin Meriam as well as Dianne’s special friend, John Bardarson and numerous other extended family including brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, John and Edna Slykhuis; one brother and one sister. Dianne’s memory will forever remain in the hearts and minds of all who knew her.  A service to honour Dianne’s life will be held in the Ortona Room at the Royal Canadian Legion, 702 - 2 Street S.E., Medicine Hat on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Barrett Scheske officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Carlyle, Saskatchewan.
