After a long and couragous battle with lung cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Frank McDouall which ocurred at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Saturday, September 18, 2010, at the age of 59 years. Known as Frank to most, Papa Smirf to some, Papa to three, Dad to one and friend to all. Frank leaves behind his best friend & wife, Valerie, and his beloved son, Jason (Kristin). He was a very special papa to Jayda, Kenzie and Kaydance, who were his pride and joy. Frank will also be missed by his mother, Dorothy as well as three brothers, Richard, Grant and Lee. He was predeceased by his father, Frank and sister, Elaine. Frank was born in Walthstow, England and was in the British Military for 22 years before moving to Canada. The family will honour Frank’s life without the proceedings of a formal funeral service.
