Obituary - Julie-Ann MacLeod

Julie Ann MacLeod, beloved wife of Kenneth MacLeod, passed away peacefully while in the comfort of her home, on Tuesday, August 3, 2010, at the age of 59 years. Along with Ken, left to cherish her memory are her two children, Steven Paul MacLeod (Tracey Staite) and Steven’s children, Gage, CJ and Connor; Michelle (Todd) Zelensky and their daughter, Sara, as well as great-granddaughter, Anastasia MacLeod. Julie is also survived by one brother, Peter (Annette) Rosser. She was predeceased by her parents, W. Ernest and R. Doreen Rosser. Since purchasing their farm in 1978, Julie has remained an active part of the Whitla community, and will be dearly missed. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Wednesday, August 11, 2010, between 1:00 P.M. and 1:55 P.M. A Celebration of Julie’s life will commence at 2:00 P.M. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Julie’s name may be made to the Medicine Hat Cancer Clinic, 666 - 5 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4H6.
