Obituary - Jack Metz

Mr. Jacob G. (Jack) Metz of Redcliff, beloved husband of Mrs. Evelyn Metz, passed away at the Medicine Hat Hospital on Thursday, November 23, 2006, at the age of 77 years. Besides his loving wife, Evelyn, Jack's memory will be cherished by his daughter, Gail (Gord) Gee of Redcliff; one brother, David (Ann) Metz; one sister, Ann Richardson; three grandchildren, Lee Gee, Kimberly Gee (Dave Leitch) and Cindy Poetz (Tristan Perry); 2 great-grandchildren, Jessa Poetz and Kajun Poetz as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Jack was predeceased by a son, Kenneth Metz and a brother, Myran Metz. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, on Tuesday, November 28, 2006, between 7:00 P.M. and 8:00 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, November 29, 2006, at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Blaine Schaufele officiating and interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery.
