Obituary - Dorothy Lamotte

Mrs. Dorothy Lamotte, beloved wife of the late Mr. Andy Lamotte, passed away in Medicine Hat on Friday, September 15, 2006, at the age of 90 years. Dorothy leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Brian (Lois) Lamotte of Medicine Hat, Gerald (Susan) Lamotte of Morris; two daughters, Jeanette Lamotte of Medicine Hat, Cheryl (Jim) Birch of Medicine Hat; six grandchildren, David of Calgary, Shane (Leah) Brock, Kevin (Terril) of Morris, MB., Beverly Gordon (Aaron) of North Bay, ON., Jeffery of Vancouver, as well as one great-granddaughter, Shaylee of Morris, MB. She is also survived by one sister, Vivian Bell of Saskatoon, Sisters-in-law, Betty Whiting of Calgary, Mona Whiting of Gilbert Plains, Hermine Sylvestre of Redvers, Angele (Joe) Lajeunesse of Winnipeg, RoseHelene (Howard) Nielson of Regina, Blanche Lamotte of Redvers; brother-in-law, George Lamotte of Morden, MB, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, David and Marget Whiting; two brothers, Dave Whiting of Gilbert Plains, MB and Harold Whiting of Calgary; one sister, Merle Clemens of Manor, SK.; brothers-in-law, Lorne Bell of Saskatoon, Paul Clemens of Manor, SK., Harry Lamotte, Aime Lamotte and Maurice Lamotte all of Redvers, Ralph Bechard of Kenora, Felix Sylvester of Bellgarde, SK.; sisters-in-law, Jean Lamotte of Redvers, Marion Lamotte of Morden, MB., Evelyn Lamotte of Redvers and Amelie Bechard of Kenora. Dorothy spent 87 years in Redvers, relocating with Andy to Medicine Hat in 2003. As per Dorothy's wishes, a private family service with interment will be held at Redvers, Saskatchewan on Friday, September 29, 2006. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made directly to the charity of one's choice.
