Jean Emile ‘John’ Foubert passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Monday, March 30, 2026, at the age of 66 years. Left to cherish John’s memory is his loving wife, Jennifer and family members back in Winnipeg. John will be remembered as a hardworking passionate man who spent a number of years working in the automotive industry before pursuing his true passion. He founded Sound Lovers Audio, a business that reflected not only his love of music and sound, but also his dedication, vision and entrepreneurial spirit. He took great pride in his work and found joy in sharing that passion with others. Dignified cremation has taken place. John will be laid to rest with his parents back in Winnipeg.

    Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers as you cope with this devastating loss. John was my cousin and we shared my happy days growing up. He was the oldest boy and I am the oldest girl on the Sibilleau side. We would talk how we were both grandma favorite grandchild.

    John was a maestro of music gear! He turned me onto vinyl. I always enjoyed his honesty. He was hilarious, especially when he disguised his wine as coffee at 11 am hahaha! He definitely is listening to some good music in a good place! I will always be grateful for you John! RIP

    My deepest condolence Jennifer we are deeply shock to hear the passing of John Jr. as I will cherish all the memory that we share on messenger lately .Bless all the fond memory it hurts to know he departed us but at least he's not suffering and he's in a better place .
