August 3, 1936 ~ March 21, 2026
It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Maureen Mary Foley who passed gently into the loving arms of her heavenly father on Saturday, March 21, 2026, in Medicine Hat.
Maureen was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert Harold Foley; son, Steven Robert (Debbie) Foley; sister, Murial Pearson and brother, Dan (Helen) McKenna.
Maureen is survived by her loving children, Daniel (Jimmi) Foley and Kevin (Deborah) Foley of Summerland; grandchildren, Ryan Foley, Stephanie Foley, Robbie (Jaylyn) Foley, Desiree (Travis) Enger, Joelene Foley, Erin (Jeremy) Wind, Daniel (Nina) Foley, Vanessa Foley, Karissa Foley and Mylo Foley; two sisters, Francis (Paul) Strunga and Sharon Sheriffs of NFLD as well as numerous great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Maureen had many interests ranging from gardening, reading, bowling winter league, women’s golf league at Cottonwood with her special friend, Kathy Matulin and playing bridge with her special friends. One of the highlights of her year was the annual birthday pool party at Marilyn Milroy’s.
Maureen worked as a bookkeeper for Parkers Furniture, Matt’s Painting and Kathy’s Restaurant. She loved golfing with her sons, bowling with her grandchildren, going for walks, painting and knitting. Maureen loved driving to Summerland each year to visit family and was always ready to put on a dinner or a BBQ just so everyone could gather together. She was so proud of everyone and whoever Maureen was with, she would brag about the others in the family.
Maureen was the corner stone of her family and left behind a legacy of faith, hope and love.
“Bye for now”
