My sincere condolences to all of Carol’s family. She was my childhood friend, growing up on the farm, and attending Seven Persons School. We played with her dog Jack, and rode her pony. Our parents were friends (Jack and Ida Nichols). I have such fond memories of those days. May she rest in peace.

To Carol's family deepest condolences on your lose.
To my dear friend Carol, for 65+ years our friendship has endured laughter and tears. I'm sad that you are no longer here to make sure I stay on the straight and narrow. On the other hand I'm really mad that you left me high and dry after promising to grow old together. The tears fall and my heart aches, what I would give to hear your voice or see a text from you. You lifted me up when I was down, lectured me when needed but most of all loved me unconditionally. Your were more than a friend, you were a sister in all ways. I miss you my friend and hold close to my heart the memories. Love you forever.

Steve, Twila and Callie; I am so sorry to read of Carol's passing. I have fond memories of my time spent with the Bow Island Legion and always knew I could go to her with any procedural questions regarding the "rules". She was so knowledgeable and worked very hard at keeping our branch going. I enjoyed reading In Our Community and I know how much work that was for her and Terry. My condolences to all her family.
    Janet
