Abraham Isaac ‘Abe’ Wiebe, beloved husband of Teresa, passed away peacefully at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the age of 74 years. Along with Teresa, his loving wife of 43 years, Abe leaves to cherish his memory: son, James (Kim) and James’ daughter, Leah; son, Christopher; one brother; four sisters; four sisters-in-law as well as five brothers-in-law. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Aganetha Wiebe as well as Teresa’s parents, Ray and Margaret Goyer. Dignified cremation has taken place. Abe’s life will be honoured and his memory cherished without the proceedings of a formal funeral. Those wishing to remember Abe may do so through donations to AJ’s Loan Cupboard in Medicine Hat.

    Abe was a genuine and honest man. I'll always remember his smile and humor. Abe was always friendly and treated me with respect. I'm sure his loss will be felt far and wide. My condolences to the family, you will continue to be loved and missed.
