It is with a broken heart that Dean announces the passing of his loving wife, Catherine Mae Brown. She passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at the age of 66 years. Along with Dean, left to cherish Cathy’s memory is her son, Stephen (Alana) Armbruster and their children, Koen and Ethan. She was predeceased by her son, Blaine. Cathy spent more than 30 years as a hairstylist, a profession where she not only showcased her talent but also built lasting friendships. Outside of work, Cathy found her greatest joy in baking; filling her home with scents of homemade treats and sharing her creations with family and friends. Cathy will be silently remembered by family and friends without the proceedings of a formal service.

My condolences to Dean and family on Cathy's passing. Cathy and I met in junior high, continuing our friendship through high school and beyond. The girls and I will sadly miss Cathy at our annual get togethers; her laugh, calm manner and wit. 💕
