It is with a broken heart that Ann announces the passing of her loving husband, Anthony Robert ‘Tony’ Laczkowski, more affectionately known as ‘the tire man’. He passed away at St. Joseph’s Home - Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the age of 71 years. Along with Ann, left to cherish Tony’s memory are his children, Theresa (Brian) Christie, David Laczkowski, Wendy (Dean) Kenny, Kerry Meyer and Joshua (Michelle) Meyer; 10 grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Bill) Dew, Betty (Tom) Laczkowski-Sawyer and Paula (Jay) Richardson; brother, Tim (Sherry) Laczkowski; mother-in-law, Jacqueline Stiff; sisters-in-law, Jean (Orville) Metz and Connie (Doug) Crowe; brother- in-law, Mickey Stiff as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Florence; sister, Lucey; niece, Alexis McClaire and father-in-law, Allan Stiff. A Celebration of Tony’s life will be held at the Seven Persons Community Hall on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Please bring a memory to share.
