Scott Clarkson Sheardown, beloved husband of Brenda and father of Brock, passed away in Medicine Hat on Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the age of 57 years. Scott was born in Medicine Hat where he graduated from Medicine Hat High School and then entered the retail industry. This is where he met his loving wife as they were destined to share the next 35 years together. Once their son Brock was born, their family was complete. For the past 31 years, Scott was a valued employee at South Country Village, helping the residents and staff through his role in maintenance. Along with Brenda and Brock, Scott leaves to cherish his memory: brother, James Sheardown (Coreen); two sisters, Donna-Lee Sheardown (Collin Stabler) and Carmen Rath (Mike); sister-in-law, Diane McMahon as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Connie Sheardown as well as one sister, Colleen Sheardown. A Celebration of Scott’s life will be held at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, 635 - 4 Street S.E., Medicine Hat on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Oz Lorentzen officiating. Private Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. Those wishing to remember Scott may do so through donations to the Maintenance Program at St. Barnabas Anglican Church.

Brenda, Brock & Extended Family,
My deepest condolences to you on the passing of Scott. He was a kind, caring man with a heart of gold 💛. Conversation just flowed with him no matter the time between running into each other over the years. When he asked “how are you”, you knew he really wanted to know ❤️ The most evident thing was how much he loved his family, his big smile and boisterous laugh always brought a smile to my face. I always enjoyed working with him years ago and loved running into you guys when you were out and about.
Cherish your memories to hold him close in your heart always.
RIP … Scott you will be missed by all who knew and loved you. 💔

Condolences to Scott's family and friends. I grew up next door to the Sheardown family. Scott and I were a couple years apart in age so we hung out a lot when we were young. I remeber spending hours playing board games in the tent trailer that was parked in the driveway. I think we even got into a little trouble together. Scott was an all around good guy and will be missed.
