Donald James Spiry passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at the age of 62 years. Don is survived by his siblings, Marie (John) Kennedy, Gordon Meyer, Allen (Tammy) Spiry, Cathy Spiry and Mike Spiry; his four legged companion, Zazu as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Jeanette. A Celebration of Don’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Thursday, September 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.

Sorry for the loss of your brother! Watched him grow up, as Gordie and all his friends babysat the younger ones when Jeanette worked. Rest in peace Donny now at home with your Mom & Dad.

Thinking about all the family as you mourn the loss of Donny (as I knew him). Hadn’t seen him in many years but remember him as a child like it was yesterday.
Always enjoyed my visits with his family and it was always a good time.

I am sorry to hear of Don’s passing. I have great memories of our families growing up together. I am out of the country so I am sorry I will not be able to attend the funeral in person. Rest in peace Don and give our Mom’s a big hug from me.
