1944 - 2024
Ted passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20th, surrounded by his family. Ted is survived by his three children: Rhonda (Jeet), Cory (Shelagh) and Kevin; grandchildren, Alicia (Quinton), Deryck (Malorie), Jory (Coralee), Ty (Raylah), Koby (Britanny); great-grandchildren, Austin, Brady, Cooper, Preslee, Dash, Maverick, Hartley, Stetson; his sister, Gladys (Ed) and his brother, Jerry (Karen); his brothers-in-law, Larry (Gladys), Gerald (Gloria), Neil (Darlene) and Kelly (Stephanie). Ted was predeceased by his wife Violet; his parents, Phillip and Lowney Seifert; his sister, Lorraine and brother-in-law Pat, and his great-granddaughter Quinn. Ted met every day with a smile on his face and always made people feel welcome. His family was his world and he always looked forward to spending time with them. Ted’s wife Violet , was the love of his life and with her passing six weeks ago, it broke his heart. He had passion for farming, sales and he was the top salesman on a regular basis. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1451 Strachan Road SE, Medicine Hat on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at 1:00 pm with Reverend Father Vincent Tuan Ha celebrant. My deepest condolences on the passing of your mom and dad. I always enjoyed our visits when I would see them out and about around town. Ted was a great salesman. Yes he sold us a vehicle. Violet was a hard worker. I got to know her when she was working at Superstore. Both spoke very highly of their children and grandchildren. May all the wonderful memories you all created together throughout the years help get you through the days and years to come.

My deepest sympathy to the Seifert family. As you know Ted was my Godfather and I carry his name, my middle name being Theodore. He was a great family man, hardworking and always so nice to me and the Koch family. I watched the live stream from my home in Colorado and it felt like I was there. May God bless your family and may Ted and Violet rest in eternal peace.

Doug and I send our sincerest condolences on the passing of Ted and Vi. Due to prior commitments we were unable to attend either of their funerals. We remember Ted and Vi, as a vibrant, kind couple, who were always willing to open their home and share their wisdom. We shared some wonderful times together, which we will cherish.
