To Your Family.... #1 mom & Grandma
To so many, a fabulous lady, a fantastic cook (oh how we remember the kuchens), a nurse with remarkable talent & caring heart for so many patients over the years, a mentor for so many nursing students, including her beautiful daughters and granddaughters', friends and anyone who had the absolute pleasure of meeting Thelma.
Her smile warmed your heart, and her laughter would put a smile on anyone's face.
May the wonderful memories you have been left carry you all through the difficult days ahead....

Thelma was a wonderful nurse and a comforting stable presence in the operating room ; she assisted me for many years with capable equanimity and goodhearted humour. I was always happy to see her , with Marge and Lenore , scrubbed in when I was dealing with emergent or complex situations under the OR lights.
She was a valued colleague and a true friend ; may she rest in well deserved peace in God's hands.

A wonderful lady and exceptional nurse. I have many memories of life in our neighbourhood with the Lutz family. Your Mom was a very hard worker and served our community well with her expertise in the O.R. at the hospital. She always had a smile. She will be missed. Sending our thoughts and prayers.

    Pam, Karen and Darcy.
Grandma Lutz took me in and treated me like one of her own! She made me feel like part of the family (even though I sucked at ride the bus) I will miss her laugh, and mostly..... her cooking. She is safe now with Grandpa Lutz watching over you all! My love to everyone, and I'm so sorry I couldn't be there in person.

I was so saddened to learn of Thelma's passing. I will never forget her steady and sincere guidance when I was a student nurse and later an RN. She had an infectious smile, an excellent sense of humor, and a talent for keeping calm in the toughest situations. I am grateful to have learned from Thelma and I found it remarkable how she had a natural tendency to make coworkers feel welcome and reassured.
