1957 - 2023
Christopher Robert Dion passed away peacefully in Medicine Hat on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the age of 66 years. Chris will be lovingly remembered by his three children, Sarah (Brian Penner), Mandy (Kailyn Baum) and Timothy; three grandchildren, Laura, Bailey and Cody along with numerous family members, friends and coworkers. Chris’ memory will be cherished without the proceedings of a formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations in Chris’ memory may be made to St. Joseph’s Home, Medicine Hat (www.covenantfoundation.ca)

Chris was always good to me. He was reliable for a good laugh and maybe a few life pointers. I spent a lot of time with Dion on the road in his late 50’s/early 60’s. We were roommates, colleagues and friends. A great mentor in all aspects of life. A well rounded and respected man. I think we can all take a page from Chris Dions book, if you were lucky enough to know him.

My sincere condolences to you all. I had many good fun times with Chris and will always remember his friendship and honesty towards me!!! Forever will remember you for always standing your ground, and never having to worry about my back when we were playing sports or just out having a good time. Rest in peace Chris
