Obituary - Brian Lowes

Brian Stanley Lowes, beloved husband of Sandra, passed away peacefully at their residence in Bow Island on Friday, March 3, 2023, at the age of 69 years. Along with Sandra, Brian leaves to cherish his memory three children, Tabitha, Jerry and Craig; seven grandchildren, Dakota, Kaitlyn, Dessiree, Quinten, Morgan, David and Terrance; four great-grandchildren, Kaydence, Raelynn, Arrow and Millie; four siblings, Gary, Carl, Caroline and Betty as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Brian was born in Peterborough, Ontario on September 24, 1953. He enjoyed his career as a 4th level Accident Reconstructionist, specializing in semi and motorcycle incidents. Although his career kept him busy, Brian also made time to enjoy his motorcycles. He married Sandra, the love of his life and soulmate, on October 19, 1991. Brian showed his love for Sandra each and every day, often asking her multiple times if there was anything he could do for her. He was definitely “The Fun Grandpa” as he was always getting into trouble (or showing his grandkids how to!) Brian was a charitable man who donated whatever time he could whether with CATAIR or at the local Legion where he served as the Vice President. He always had a soft heart for his dogs (Autumn, Sissy, Butch and Ellie) and with Sandra, learned to love their cats (Skitty, Sam, Rosie, Ben, Aussie and Festus). A friend to everyone he met, the memory of this kind hearted, good soul will forever live on through the many whose lives he touched. Private Interment took place at the Bow Island Cemetery and a time of fellowship followed thereafter at the Bow Island Legion.
