Sherry Deana Williams, loving wife of David, mother of Kathleen (Terrill) Ritz and grandma to Owen, passed away in Medicine Hat on Thursday, May, 27, 2021, at the age of 60 years after a seven year battle with cancer. Along with her immediate family, Sherry will fondly be remembered by her big brothers, Randy (Lori) Johnson of Altona, MB. and Rick Johnson of Cold Lake, AB.; little sisters, Sheila Johnson of Kamloops, BC., and Kathy (Kevin) Andrew of Medicine Hat as well as numerous nieces, nephews and close friends from far and wide. Sherry and Dave spent as much time as possible enjoying the great outdoors in their motorhome, more affectionately known as ‘Lightning’. Sherry was a ‘lifer’ at the UFA in Medicine Hat helping open the store in 1991. She wore many hats there and enjoyed the people. She will be deeply missed! The family would like to thank the excellent staff at St. Joseph’s Home for taking great care of Sherry. Due to current health restrictions, a family celebration is planned for the summer.

Dearest Dave, Kathy and family. What a shock to see the announcement of Sherry’s passing in the paper today. Even though we haven’t seen you for a few years, we have fond memories of when you would all stop in at the store. Good talks always. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this difficult time.

This breaks my heart.
I have done Sherry's hair for years and I loved her very much. Her family was truly her pride and joy. I'm so glad she got to know her grandbaby before she passed. I will miss her.
