Mrs. Karren Margaret Fleckenstein passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Friday, January 29, 2021, at the age of 78 years. She is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Ken) Rice and their children, Jinnie (Matt) Burson and Jessica (Corey) Noronha; and her son, Dana (Shari) Fleckenstein. Karren is also survived by two great-granddaughters, Summer and Saige Noronha and her brothers, Jerry (Dawn) Petersen, David (Toni Ann) Petersen and Tom (Bonnie) Petersen. She was predeceased by her parents, Edna and George Petersen. Karren was born and lived her entire life in Medicine Hat where she worked at DomGlass, Sunnyside Nursing Home and many years at Woolworths. She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her. A private time of remembrance will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel.
