Mr. Frank Tarnoczi passed on to his eternal home with his beloved wife, Katie holding his hand, at St. Joseph’s Home - Carmel Hospice, on Saturday, December 5, 2020, at the age of 89 years. Frank dedicated his life to serving the community and his Catholic faith working in various capacities within the church. At an early age he had a calling to serve as a priest and following 16 years of ministry, he left the priesthood and married Katherine Pederson. Frank then worked at Crane MacAvity Foundry as an accountant, director of United Way, introduced Habitat for Humanity in Medicine Hat, was an election officer for Elections Canada and worked at the casino. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and caring wife, Katherine; six step-children, Dwain (Terry) Pederson, Russell (Penny) Pederson, Melvin Pederson, Norma Pederson, Anita (Dennis) Sedor, and Mark (Sunde) Pederson; step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The private family funeral service will be celebrated at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Roque Pereira officiating.
