With our deepest sorrow, we announce the sudden passing of our dear daughter, Ashley Dawn Bitz on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the young age of 28 years. Ashley will be extremely missed by her parents, Randy and Donna Bitz; her siblings, Colin (Jen), Jordan (Sasha) and Alyssa (Sean); her beloved children, Dallas (7yrs), Drayden (5yrs) and Abigail (3yrs); grandmother, Joyce Renshaw as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. She was predeceased by her grandmother, Darlene Carlson; grandfathers, Duane Carlson and Gus Bitz and her fiancé, Trevor Tremblay. Ashley was born October 12, 1990 in Medicine Hat where she spent the majority of her life. Ashley’s biggest love was for her children and family. She loved to laugh, joke around and help others. She made many friends over the years and she will be forever loved and missed by all! Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Ashley’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel on Thursday, September 26, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating. Private interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery. To help support Ashley’s children, a “Go Fund Me” page has been set up where memorial donations can be made.

I remember riding our bikes and teasing the boys in our neighbourhood with this beautiful soul. I remember coming over to your house and playing in the basement. It’s too soon for you to leave this earth. I will always cherish our memories.

My sincerest condolences to all of you. It is so sad to hear of someone so beautiful and so young to have left this life at such a young age.
