Cook Southland Funeral Chapel - Saint(2017)
On Monday, April 17, 2017, Wendy Saint (nee Sauvé) passed gently from this world at the age of 62 years. Wendy is survived by two sons, Jeremy and Adam; mother, Frances; sisters, Joyce, Kayla and Grace as well as one brother, Todd. She was predeceased by her father, Rene. Wendy was a wonderful, creative woman who shared her many talents and beautiful creations with those she was close to. She loved having a coffee and chat with her close circle of friends and especially spending time with her dog, BEAR. Wendy was a strong, independent woman who despite many struggles in life, greeted the world with a smile. Her memories will be cherished by all those who loved her dearly. As per her request, Wendy’s life will be honoured and her memory cherished without the proceedings of a formal funeral service. If friends so desire, tributes honouring Wendy’s memory may be made directly to the Medicine Hat SPCA, 55 Southwest Drive S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 8E8.

Wendy was one of the best friends I could have ever wished for or wanted. But then she was a great friend to so many. I will miss her so much from her witty comments, our tile rummy battles, coffee dates, almost daily phone chats and her creativity be it her sewing, drawing, carpentry or cooking. Your buddy Bear will forever be loved on and treated like the prince you thought he was. I can hear you saying "Don't you be spoiling my Bear!" My sincere condolences to all Wendy's friends and family who are also sharing in the loss of this wonderful lady. Forever in our hearts and thoughts. Yer Friend, Gloria

When I think of time spent with Wendy there was always laughter, enthusiasm for the next project, plans for the future and thoughts on how she would spend the winnings from her lottery ticket. She called it her cheap dream. Despite set backs in her life, she kept a positive outlook. She was a loyal friend and I will truly miss her.
