Mr. Gregory John Walton was born on June 12, 1961, in Grande Prairie, AB., and passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Monday, September 26, 2016, at the age of 55 years. Family left to cherish Greg’s memory include his mother, Elaine (Bob) Cox of Medicine Hat; two sons, Dylan (Laura) of Edson, AB., and their children, Ivy, Jacob and Romy; Graham (Lauren) of Red Deer, AB., as well as two brothers, Douglas (Debbie) of Cochrane, AB., and Kevin of Delray Beach, Florida. Greg was predeceased by his father, Howard, in 1971 and his wife,?Cindy, in 2008. A service will be held in Edson, AB., at a later date.

Once I thought I saw you (in a crowded hazy bar) no it was in IGA actually, as I got in my truck I was like OMG that was Greg Walton nawwww what would he be doing in Medicine Hat. Reading your obituary today and finding out you moved here 5 years ago makes my heart so heavy.You were such a supportive friend and band mate I am really kicking myself for not just saying Greg? Greg Walton is that you? I'm sure we would of been jammin again. I remember trying to cut the song "comes a time" from our set list and you saying " no way my wife thinks you are a god at that song it stays" Say hi to Cindy for me bud you will be missed .
