Wells
1963 - 2016
Mrs. Carmon Bonita “Bonny” Wells, beloved wife of the late Mr. Duncan Wells, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Friday, May 27, 2016, at the age of 53 years. Bonny was born on April 7, 1963 in Calgary, AB., and was raised in Medicine Hat. She married the love of her life, Duncan, in 1994 and they spent many happy years together until his passing in 2012. They enjoyed going to concerts and looked forward to their Vegas getaways. A special moment in Bonny’s life was watching Sidney Crosby and the Penguins play their last game in the Mellon Arena. During their time together, Bonny and Duncan started Big K Pressure Testing which Bonny gave her heart and soul to. She was extremely proud of this accomplishment. Bonny was a very colourful lady who lived life to the fullest and by her rules! Her zest for life will be missed. Bonny is survived by her mother, Flo Leonard; brother, Joey and his children, Brittany, Breanna and Joey Jr.; step-sister, Dana; step-brother, Chad as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins including Bonny’s “three girls”, Lana Sackman, Jackie Meyer and Cindy Reesor. Bonny was predeceased by her husband, Duncan Wells; father, Joseph Leonard; step-father’s, Jim Hann and Cliff Desmarais. At Bonny’s request, there will be no formal funeral service held; her request would be for her friends to raise a glass and have a final toast in her honour. If friends so desire, memorial donations in Bonny’s name may be made directly to the Palliative Care Unit, c/o MH & District Health Foundation, 666 - 5 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4H6.

Hello, our condolences to all of Bonny's family and near and dear friends. I had worked with Duncan for many years consulting together on various drilling rigs, both around Medicine Hat and Brooks area, as well as Suffield Block, Primrose and Wabasca. We shared so many good times together both at work and play ( time off.) We enjoyed taking our wives out to hockey games, meals Or just for a visit over a coffee. A catch-up ( if you will ) on the latest happening in our lives, or teasing one another over some silly past joke or just stuff that had happened to any one other than ourselves. Duncan and Bonny are often in our conversation and will be missed so much by us. Now Bonny can join Duncan in the spirit world and carry onto eternity. Next glass of wine we have ---- we will lift it high in the air and whisper a wee prayer for the loss of our special friends.

Cousin, you will be missed by all of us! We enjoyed our conversations together, the laughter we shared and definitely the drinks we shared! We could never have a short visit with you when we came out to the house on the hill. And our classes or cups were never empty! You did play by your own rules and that's what we loved about you! ?? now you will be with the love of your life!
Rest in Peace Bon! Love you! Miss you! ????

To all the family and friends of Bonny, we send our condolences. Bonny made a generous provision for SOS in her estate, and we are so very thankful. She sounds like she was a vivacious woman who enjoyed life, and I know she took a piece of your heart with her passing. However your lives are surely more blessed by knowing and loving Bonny.
