1952 - 2013

Lynn passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary with husband, Ray and family at her side after a long battle with heart failure and cancer. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Ray; son, James Van Dyk and granddaughter, Jamie; father, Clare (Donna) Evans and siblings, Mary Ann Lawrence, Sandra (Chris) Clancy, Alex (Twyla) Evans. She is also survived by Gail (Bill) Kovitch, Joan (Mike) Conzemius, Dan (Lori) Boisvert, Cheryl (Rod) Tomson, Janice (Phil) Ketcheson and Gerald Boisvert as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her mother, Dolores; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Guy and Cora Boisvert; brother-in-law, Paul Lawrence and a nephew, James. Lynn had a great love of camping, fishing, card games, reading and especially loved her dogs, Tammy and Quincy. She will be warmly remembered by all for her kindness and great smile. We extend a special thanks to all the doctors and nurses who gave her great care these past four months while at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital, Foothills Hospital Unit 42 and ICU, Tom Baker Cancer Centre and the McCaig Tower ICU. Lynn’s wishes will be honoured with a celebration of her life which will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in Lynn’s name may be made directly to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 124, 430 - 6 Avenue S.E., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 2S8, Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta, T2N 4N2 or to the SPCA, 55 Southwest Drive S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 8E8.

Ray and family- I have always held Lynn as one of my dear friends. Although this is a difficult time, be happy that she is no longer in pain and is in a better place. My heart goes out to you...Ina

Dear Ray & family: Condolences to you and the family on Lynn's passing. She was my co-worker when we worked in the Government Building in The Hat. She had a good sense of humour which brought us many good laughs. Again, condolences to all.

Raymond - We send you our sincere condolences on the passing of Lynn. We did not know that her illness had progressed so rapidly and our hearts go out to you for the difficult times you have both endured during these past months. May all your wonderful memories of Lynn carry you through the tough days and months ahead. We will be thinking of you and we wish you all the best. See you at the hockey games.
