David Reid Ivie passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Thursday, August 9, 2012, at the age of 56 years. David leaves to cherish his memory:  two daughters, Leanne Ivie (David Ingram) and Jenna (Damon) Krassman;  their mother, Sherry Ivie;  grandchildren, Amber Ivie, Nathan Sommerfeld, Hannah Sommerfeld, Aubri Krassman and Carter Krassman;  sisters, Gayle (Mel) MacDougall, Glenda (Fred) Lyon as well as numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his parents, Reid and Isabelle, as well as one sister, Sharon Webster. A Graveside Celebration of David’s life will be held at Hillside Cemetery on Friday, October 12, 2012, at 3:00 P.M.  Those wishing to attend the service should gather at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel between 2:30 P.M and 2:50 P.M. to join the procession to graveside.
