Allan John Johnson passed away in Medicine Hat on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at the age of 76 years. Al is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Ollie; two daughters, Pat (John) MacIntosh and their children Kaylie and Michael; Christine Johnson (Stacy Brown) and her daughter Tayler Shae, all of Medicine Hat; mother, Dorothy Johnson; three sisters, Beverly Johnson (Don Ruggles) and Anita Staples both of Victoria, BC, and Evelyn (Bill) Bachynski of Drumheller, AB, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Gerald; father, Clarence Johnson and brother-in-law, Jim Staples. A Celebration of Al’s life will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Friday, May 4, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. with Life Celebrant Gerry Getz officiating. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in memory of Al may be made directly to the Heart &?Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 124, 430 - 6 Avenue S.E., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 2S8.
