1963 - 2010

It is with great sadness that the family of George Richards announce his passing which occurred on May 11, 2010, at the age of 47 years as the result of a tragic accident. He was the loving son of Phyllis and the late Edmund Richards; dear brother to Linda, Bonnie (Peter), Barry, Dale (Christine) and Wendy. George is survived by nieces, Sarah and Aimee (Dan); nephews, Adam (Nikki), Michael, Keelan, and Matthew as well as two great-nieces, Chantal and Morgan. At an early age, George’s dream was to be a trucker. His dream came true, and he has been driving truck for the past 25 years. A private service has taken place. If friends so desire, memorial tributes in George’s name may be made directly to the SPCA, 55 Southwest Drive S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 8E8.
