Obituary - Wayne Riffel

Wayne Lawrence Riffel was called home to the Lord while at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at the age of 44 years. Left to cherish Wayne's memory are his father, Olie; brothers, Michael (Linda), Patrick; sisters, Sharon, Elaine (Ron); nieces, Nicole, Suzanne, Ashley, Jennifer and Megan. He was predeceased by his mother, Madeleine. Wayne received the majority of his schooling in Medicine Hat. At the time of his passing, Wayne owned and operated White Knite General Contracting in Medicine Hat. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 1451 Strachan Road S.E., Medicine Hat, on Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Father John Nemanic celebrant. Columbarium placement will follow at Hillside Cemetery. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Medicine Hat Cancer Clinic or to the Palliative Care Society at 666 - 5 Street S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 4H6.
