Obituary - Phillip Flaig

Mr. Phillip John Flaig, beloved husband of 55 years to Mrs. Helen Flaig of Manyberries, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, March 15, 2009, at the age of 74 years. Phillip John Flaig was born in Medicine Hat on August 19, 1934, the eldest child of Elsie and Richard Flaig. He received his education at Berry Centre School which was just south of Irvine. On December 28, 1953, Phillip married Helen Grage. Along with his wife Helen, Phillip is survived by his daughter, Dale (Gerald) Mack; son, Larry (Ann) Flaig; grandsons, Rory (Marlene) Mack and their children Kyle, Kennady and Troy; Kirk (Heidi) Mack; brother, Roy (Alice) Flaig; sister, Kathleen Mazacs; numerous nieces and nephews as well as his best friend, Bear, his dog. A Celebration of Phillip's life will be held at Victory Lutheran Church, 2793 Southview Drive S.E., Medicine Hat on Thursday, March 19, 2009, at 1:30 P.M. with Pastor Emil Krause officiating.
