Obituary - Gordon Egeland

Mr. Gordon Egeland Of Medicine Hat, passed away at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 18, 2004, at the age of 79 years. He leaves to cherish his memory three children, Wanda (Lawrence) Bertrand of Calgary, AB., Calvin (Rhonda) Egeland and Byron (Shelley) Egeland both of Medicine Hat; ten grandchildren as well as a special friend Lenora Hummel. Gordon is also survived by two sisters, Lois Barker and Eunice Harris; two brothers, Elerd and John Egeland, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, Marcus and Lulu; one sister, Kelly Simmons; one brother, Norman Egeland; one brother-in-law, Ed Barker and one sister-in-law, Twyla Egeland. Gordon farmed in Acadia Valley until retiring to Medicine Hat. He will be forever loved and remembered by all. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Wednesday, April 21, 2004, between 12:00 P.M. and 1:50 P.M. The Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Ken Roset officiating and interment at Hillside Cemetery.
