1917 - 2007

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Leonard Wilson Dilworth of Medicine Hat, formerly of the Herbert District, SK on October 8, 2007 at the age of 90 years with his family by his side. He will be sorely missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Hertha, children: Florence (Gerald) Wood of Caron, SK; Allen (Shirley) Dilworth, of Herbert, SK; Beverly (Larry) Ellerman of Medicine Hat, AB, six grandchildren: Kim Wood of Salmon Arm, BC, Darcy (Kathy) Wood of Moose Jaw, SK, Kallie (Jody) Bossence of Mortlach, SK, Kristie (Eden) Tourangeau of Edmonton, AB, Trish (Mike) England of Seven Persons, AB and Danielle (Donovan) Buscholl of Medicine Hat, AB, 10 great grandchildren: Justin, Lane and Keegan Bossence, McKenzie Wood, Skylar Ellerman, Ebony and Chase England, Zander and Zaric Tourangeau and Jaxon Buscholl as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends. Len was predeceased by his two brothers Gordon and Joe. The funeral service will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Donations in memory of Len may be made to the Palliative Unit of the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks for the compassionate care and attention given to both Len and his family by the staff of the Palliative Unit at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital.
