Obituary - Ken Desjarlais

Ken passed away in Medicine Hat, Alberta Tuesday September 18, 2007, after a hard fought battle with cancer. Ken's legacy lives on through his beloved wife, Joan and his sons, Matt, David and Jeffrey. He will also be missed by his mother, Ann; brothers, Jean and Glenn; extended family and many friends. Throughout Ken's career, he pursued new challenges and opportunities with enthusiasm. He was a hard working man ending his career working at Colt Engineering in the oil and gas industry, specializing in pipeline design and construction. To all who knew him, Ken was their 'go to man', always willing to lend a hand. Ken may no longer be with us in person but he will be watching over us. A celebration of Ken's life will be held at Holy Family Parish, 1451 Strachan Road S.E., Medicine Hat, on Monday September 24 at 1:00 PM with Reverend Father Alphonse Narisetty celebrant. In deference to Ken, let's wear jeans.
