Obituary - Dorothy Crane

Mrs. Dorothy Louise Crane of Medicine Hat, peacefully passed away at the South Country Village on Monday, February 13, 2006, at the age of 94 years. Dorothy was born on July 7, 1911 in Medicine Hat, a daughter to William and Mary Cousley. Dorothy will be remembered by her honorary daughter, June Standing; daughter-in-law, Carol Crane; grandchildren, Lorraine (Wilf) Gareau, Larry Crane and Gerry Crane as well as her great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; two sons, Gordon and Donald Crane; a brother, Jack Cousley and an honorary son-in-law, Fred Standing. The Funeral Service will be held at Cook Southland Funeral Chapel, 901 - 13 Street S.W., Medicine Hat on Wednesday, February 22, 2006, at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Bob Findley and Reverend James Farrell officiating. Interment to follow at Hillside Cemetery. Memorial tributes in Dorothy's name may be made directly to the Sunnyside Nursing Home, 1720 Bell Street S.W., Medicine Hat, Alberta, T1A 5G1.
