Helen Costick of Medicine Hat passed away peacefully at the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital on Monday, May 4, 2009, at the age of 101 years. Helen has resided in Medicine Hat since approximately 2004, having moved to be closer to her nephew, Alf Turlock. Along with Alf, her memory will be cherished by her family and many friends spanning from various communities in British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan, even as far east as Windsor, Ontario. Helen's family will cherish her memory without the proceedings of a formal funeral service.
