Boschee

1928 - 2009

It is with heavy hearts that Marj, Carol, Shirley, Janice, Joanne, Calvin and Joyce announce the death of their mother, sister and friend, (Doris) Jean Boschee. Jean was born on the 11th of May, 1928 to Norman and Ada Woolley. She attended schools at Feldman Lake and Alexandra. In 1948 she married John Boschee. They lived for nine years in Redcliff then in 1957 returned to the family homestead in the Tothill district, southeast of Medicine Hat where she lived until September 3rd of this year. Jean was predeceased by her husband John on October 20, 1984; her father, Norman in January of 1957 and her mother, Ada in April of 1982. She is survived by her children, Marj (Les) Wonnenberg, Carol Franz, Shirley (Dave) Maurer, Janice (Larney) DeBoer, Joanne (Perry) Krutzler and Calvin (Melissa) Boschee and a sister, Joyce Woolley. Also cherishing her memory are 16 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren (with three more on the way). The Funeral Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 62 Valleyview Drive S.W., Medicine Hat on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. with Mr. Bill Rae officiating.
